In the play “Romeo and Juliet,” the characters that are most to blame are Friar Laurence, Lord Capulet, and Romeo. The first character with the most blame would be Friar Laurence, taking 40% of the blame with his bad and hasty plans, fleets, and decisions. Fiar Laurence’s plan of faking Juliet’s death was the main cause of Romeo’s death. The Friar failed to recognize that Romeo would arrive at the tomb first, oblivious to the fact that Juliet is still alive.
