In the 1920s World War 1 had ended, and the rest of the decade was about having fun and celebrating (“www.learner.org”). The 1920s had its highs and lows but overall the roaring twenties was a party. Women won the right to vote, African American culture was at its high, the assembly line was created, people could buy stock, and installment buying was created. Even though alcohol was banned in the 1920s people still drank it illegally and made bars called speakeasies so they could drink alcohol (A Bio. of America,www.learner.org,& Corrigan, Jim) .
Was the roaring twenties a good or bad decade? The roaring twenties was a good decade because people could buy goods through installment buying, people could buy stock, and production increased.
