Is changing nature and the present really a bad idea? I have recently watched two different movies with a lot of similarities and differences. Jurassic Park and The Sound of Thunder are both interesting films that share so much about the butterfly effect and the consequences of changing the future. In The Sound of Thunder, the main character Eckles is a hunter and wants to find and kill a dinosaur. So he joins a hunting expedition group to travel back in time to hunt for dinosaurs. So they go back to 2055 and Eckles learns about the path he wants to kill a T-Rex. So as they travel and search for a T-Rex they find one and Eckles gets afraid and runs away and the group that he is traveling with kills the dinosaur. When they get the tour, they show them how they make the dinosaurs and what they need to make them in a lab. After their tour, they sit down and talk about what it would take to make the park public for people to tour and come see the dinosaurs, but Alan doesn't think it's a good idea because dinosaurs have been extinct for years. They drive around and the weather starts to get really bad and the T-Rex is not in the cage like it's supposed to be so the dinosaurs get out and are killing each other and the only way to get the power back on is to run through the dinosaur and they are all scared to do it.So they end up getting the power on and getting to the helicopter and leaving the island but they don't do anything about the dinosaurs. Both of these stories that I have told you about today share so many differences, but they have a lot in common.
