Great catch on the blog! You have a sharp eye! I did not even notice that when I read the article. You are right, the article is not peer-reviewed and the blog promotion is a dead giveaway. I believe you are correct on the claim you chose. I do feel the support is the vast majority of the article. Anytime to author uses humor (which is a lot) I believe he is using support to show the trivialness of the issue. I was not familiar with the Toulmin model before this class. I have written a few argument essays, but I had never been taught this method. I think the Toulmin method is a very effective strategy.
