People usually do not aware what they exactly want, their wishes and desires are blurry before they meet the unconscious design. Human has lots instincts, some of them come from nature, such as watch and touch; some of them are behaviors come from lives, such as always want to push the button. Only insisting on instincts is not completion for a good design, behavior is as important as instinct too. People often relate umbrella holder to a bucket, but Fukasawa thought it in a different way. He only chiseled a hole on the front of door. The people who want to drop their umbrellas can use the tip of umbrella easily finding this hole and let them against the wall. This tiny hole is the holder for umbrellas as well as a bucket. Nobody needs to be taught for how to use it because the hole can lead people to complete this action. When people use this hole to be the holder of umbrellas, they may unaware of it. It is natural conscious reaction from daily behaviors, but it works.
