Are vaccinations actually hurting your children? Vaccinating children is a topic that cause a lot of controversy between people and cautious parents. A mass amount of people think that vaccinating children will cause more problems than what the initial reason is for. While there is a bulk amount of people who believe that vaccinations need to be necessary, and that they help decrease major illnesses that people used to have. People want their kids to be healthy and on one side of the controversy people are trying to tell others that vaccinations are what are keeping people safe from these illnesses that once killed us.

There is a tie of outbreaks and the decrease of vaccinations bringing back old outbreaks in people causing severe illnesses again. Measles has made a comeback in the 21st century, in 2005 an unvaccinated teenager visited Romania and ended up infecting 34 people after returning to the United States. Later a seven year old caught measles while in Switzerland and after coming home infected 11 other children who were all found to be unvaccinated. There were overall 23 measle outbreaks affecting 644 people in 27 states. Not only is there the measles outbreaks but polio, whooping cough, smallpox and more. It has all been lead back to the anti-vaxxers not vaccinating their children even while there is no evidence supporting the link between autism and vaccinations and that there is an uprise in severe illnesses.
There is a big controversy on whether vaccinations are really as big of a problem as some people may think. There is nothing wrong with keeping everyone healthy by teaching the immune system to become immune to severe illnesses. Vaccinations should be a mandatory thing to help keep everyone healthy and safe from these diseases that are strong enough to kill
