Some work harder than others to get where they are but some also do not work as hard and still manage to get wealthy because they are born into a wealthy family. The wealthy judge the poor people and the poor people also judge the wealthy. This is much like how people segregate others religiously.
Religions are based off of what people believe. Some people believe or think that there was a God and others believe or think that there was no God. The most common religions are Christianity, Atheism, Islam, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Judaism. Christians believe that there is a God and an afterlife in heaven or hell. Atheists believe that their is no God but it is different for every atheist. Some believe there is an afterlife and some believe a person's body dies and decays after death. Islamic people believe in a God named Allah. They believe that the soul of a human being after death lives. Catholics believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. They believe that newborns are born with sin and only baptism can erase them. Hinduism beliefs include the rebirth and reincarnation of souls. They believe in ghosts and spirits. Buddhists believe that there is no personal god and that the purpose of life is to end suffering. Jewish people believe in heaven and hell. They believe in one god who created the universe. The witch trials and segregation were both started out of fear. During the witch trials, most women were scared of getting accused of witchcraft by others. Due to the fact that these women were scared of getting accused, they became the accuser. They told people that they were being possessed in some way by the devil. Racial segregation was driven by a fear also. Some people believed that God’s type of “perfect society” only involved one race. They feared that because African Americans were not the same race that God would not accept them. Due to the fact of their beliefs, they began to segregate African Americans. We face many different types of segregation to this day. Whether it is pointed towards human beings, animals, or things. We segregate all three of those things for the same reasons. We try to seek out and separate the people that we believe are more similar to us than the ones that are completely different. We separate individuals based on race, age, gender, religion, wealthiness, sexual orientation, popularity and actions. Segregation still occurs to this day and will probably still exist many years from now. Segregation is a natural thing, people do not realize they do it on a daily basis.
