In Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet, two individuals from different royal parties fall in forbidden love. Tragically, they die at the hands of their own families’ feud and the separation of these two families. In this story, Friar Lawrence is one of the many people to blame for their woeful deaths. Friar Lawrence strengthens this claim by not describing the plan to Romeo earlier and otherwise asking another friar, Friar John, to deliver the letter instead of himself.
