Title: Whole animal metabolism
Purpose: Metabolism is the sum total of all biochemical activity that takes place in a living organism; the exchange of energy and matter. In this lab, we are going to investigate a type of catabolism referred to as cellular respiration. We will measure the rate of respiration in a living organism, and determine the effect of temperature on the respiration rate of the mouse.
