Why am I thankful? I am thankful because I have so many magnificent people in my life it would be hard not to be thankful. It's important to be thankful because we as people are surrounded by so many great things that we should be appreciative of the things people do for us. Such as school, family, God, pets, firefighters, police, doctors etc. My top three things I am thankful for are school, my sisters, and my pets. I am thankful for school because it gives me a good and well rounded education. I can use this education to do well in high school and then college. My school is also a place where I can see my friends and socialize. It also gives me a place to learn in a fun way instead of reading from text books like homeschooled kids have to do. Instead I get to watch educational videos, do labs and experiments, and fun projects about events around the world. Some things I don't enjoy are having to get up early but I do appreciate that it forces me to get up and not sleep my day away. St Anne's is a wonderful place to attend school and I am really happy my parents picked it. …show more content…
I have not always appreciated them, especially when I had to share a room! I guess you could say that we got closer as we got older and received our own bedrooms. Now that they both live away at college I really miss them both. It is really great when we can FaceTime. Even though they don't live at home anymore I think we may be closer now than we ever were. It's weird to think you never really feel that fortunate for what you have like my sisters until they leave and you realize that you can’t see them everyday.
