Sexism and racism are wrong because they focus on external variations and ignore the internal similarities that exist between individuals. Vindicating the rights of women requires us to make arguments on the base of human nature (Cleaver and Schwarzwalder 1 of 1). The unborn also have human nature and they should be given the same protection from mistreatment and discrimination that women and minorities have. Other than that, abortion takes an affecting and emotional toll, that is in on all those involved and especially the mother. The family and the father of the baby also suffer from a great loss. Women who have gone through abortion suffer a loss just like one would feel when they lose family members. This is made worse by the fact that they made the decision to have the abortion. Most people assume that laws have been put in place to protect everyone. However, this is not always the case. Women on their way to abortion centers often have second thoughts but brush them off because they reason that a legal issue must be
