Additionally, not all of the adults in jail are responsible for the young people’s bad influences. Also, it’s not always the guardian’s fault that their kids can get a hold of weapons and that they committed crimes. But, young people have a more less developed brain than adults and kids have a less understanding of what’s wrong and what’s right or they just don’t know. Also, the bad environment is not good for an undeveloped person as it might be a poor influence, even though the adult criminals might not know.
Juveniles shouldn’t be tried as adults. Their brains and minds are different. They need to be provided with a better environment instead of one filled with bad influences and memories. The kid criminals should have better guardians if they committed crimes. The law needs to know that juveniles and adults are different, especially their brain/mindset, so they need to be treated differently.
