First, it should because kids don’t get enough sleep because it starts at 8:15. Also, kids have to wake up earlier to do their everyday routine. Kids need at least 8.5-9.5 hours of sleep a day, (says article 1: Sleepy in Seattle.) Another thing is kids practices go way too late so kids have to eat right after and it's already 11:00. Practices or school activities should only go until 9:00.
Second, many kids sleep past their alarms and their parents have already gone to work. Once they wake up they look at the time and it is 8:45 school started 30 minutes ago. (Says Article 2)
