For students that work jobs after school, having to be at school before 7:30 is tremendously stressful. Students will start work at 5:00 PM and get off at 11:00 PM and get to sleep by 12:30 or 1 in the morning. Most of the time on the days after they work they wake up late sometimes at 6:45 AM. This means they at most are getting 6 hours of sleep. When students wake up they feel drowsy all day and the cycle just repeats. Students often show signs of negative attitudes towards schools when they don't intake enough sleep the night before. This can drop students grades. When a student falls asleep in class it is often hard for them to catch up to the lesson the rest of the class is on. They wake up confused on the subject. Most students just give up until the next period. This happens at least 4 times every period. Most students will just accept that they did bad and missed out on the assignments not knowing there is always a way to catch up on their missed work.
