Many people are uncomfortable with the idea of women fighting and are unable to the handle the image of mothers coming home in body bags. There are also some concerns that women will interfere with group bonding. But according to the Service Women’s Action Network, women aren’t “technically” allowed to serve in combat roles, but have been doing it unofficially for a while. In conclusion, combat jobs should be open for women in the military. Its modern times, gender discrimination shouldn’t be allowed/accepted anywhere; including the military. Does it really make sense for half of our population to not be able to do combat jobs in the military?
