“My Place” My place, a place that is important to me, is the Rosemount wrestling room. This place is important to me because it is a place where I get pushed out of my comfort zone, push myself past my limits, and grow as a person. During the wrestling season, I am in this room five days a week, consistently until the season is over. This is a place where I can let all of my energy out. The wrestling room serves as a place where I can let all my energy out and feel good about it, a place where I can just let go and wrestle. When I'm in the wrestling room, I don't have to worry about school or anything else. My mind is clear and focused on wrestling. I look forward to going to the wrestling room every day after school. I feel like I have a special connection with the wrestling room, there is a different aspect unlike any other place I visit on the regular. When I enter the wrestling room I know it's going to be a hard day, but I love the challenge and love pushing myself out of my comfort zone, because when the practice is over, I feel like I left all my effort out on the mat. It's a feeling that I only feel in the wrestling room, the joy of finishing a tough practice knowing I left it all out on the mat. As a team, we all push each other to get better, and hold each other accountable. We have a strong bond because of the wrestling room, it's a place where we as a team work together to get better. I have many memories of the wrestling room. We have this day called Flag Day, which is the hardest practice of the year I think, where we run pacers, wrestle, and run more
