For example I am going to Hill’s Alive in July, my brother David is coming up from Nebraska to visit in June. My family has also planned some time for fishing, camping, or just going somewhere out of Worland city limits, and I would like some time alone at home where I can relax before school start again. All of these plans would have to be altered in order to fit them into the new school schedule. A great multitude of students would agree with me that year-round schooling is just crazy. In the end we get the same amount of days off, so why not spend them at the same time were we can go somewhere and have fun with friends and family without having a timer sitting over our heads counting down from thirty days. More students would also not have as much time for church activities such as trips to Yellowstone to see buffalo, elk, and old faithful. I admit year-round schooling has its upsides when it comes to summer break being shorter, but like I said there just isn’t enough time for students and their family’s to fully enjoy summer
