In the image of zombies on devices, the illustrator uses many stylistic choices and features to push his themes and message in order to better connect with the audience as well as persuade them that the constant use of technology is damaging to society. The image is a cartoon illustration meant to be a satire of the use and human behavior in regards to modern day technology. The intended audience of this illustration are adolescent teens to adults ranging between the ages of thirteen to forty years of age. This can be seen by the average age group of the “zombies” in the image based on their appearance, as well as the most common consumers of technology. In the image, the illustrator uses pathos to shock and, in a way, horrify the on looker into understanding the message of the illustration. In the illustration, onlookers see a hoard of zombie like beings all moving in the same direction, but despite this, they have no clear destination and much rather have the appearance of roaming aimlessly rather than motion with conscious intentness. The words that can be seen in the image are a phone company SOMSANG and a sign that says PHONES. The words being in the background as well as also being slightly blurry, symbolizes that these large scale companies that manufacture and give people the content that society views on a daily bases are always in the background pulling the strings and trying to get people to keep buying their products. It shows that people are becoming more and more enthralled by technology and less aware of the world around them and even their own being, truly becoming mindless and brain dead to everything all the more becoming apathetic to the daily workings of the
