I am a detention officer in a correctional facility which has encouraged me to focus my attention on substance abuse. Recently I received my LCDCI license and my goal is to become fully license so that I may continue to work within the correctional facility. At this time I am working with women who are incarcerated in the county jail and they are in a ninety day program (Intensive Drug Treatment). This program is a court ordered and it is designed to help those who want to be free of substance. I see myself in the near future as the (IDT) primary counselor ll. The church that I attend, there are many opportunities to serve the community in which I live in. At this time I am currently working on my bachelor degree in psychology.
