The social science that’s most related to this article is “Psychology”. This is because psychologist are people who work with patients in a variety of therapeutic context, in which these people in the article are needed help by psychologist. Psychologist need to understand every act and decision you make to see if you are in need of further help. Human beings that have related or acted in abuse of some sort are usually in a mental state, they don’t realize their actions they make. This is why Psychologist analyze movements, and emotional responses and the thoughts derived from things you say etc.
The question is “Why do humans abuse innocent animals?” There are many reasons to why people abuse animals. They have a need to feel powerful, an animal, like a dog or cat can’t do the same damage a human could, and can’t tell anyone about it, so they feel powerful and don’t get the consequences of that kind of cruelty well, their psychological problems are part of the consequence, instead of dealing with it, they take their issues out on other animals, that itself won’t do them any good.
Bullying
“Driven to suicide after bullies taunted him”
A 12 year old boy, Joel hung himself in his apartment on Tuesday, his mother found him hanging from the shower in the bathroom at 11:30 PM. He was driven to suicide by bullies who teased him for being short and smart. He was also teased about his father who passed away when Joel was 4 months old.
The social science that connects with this article is “Sociology” but could also be “Psychology” this is because sociologist is the scientific study of human society and its origins, development, organizations, and institutions. Bullying and intimidation are a major social problem in many cultures. Since it is considered immature and mean to perpetrate violent or threatening acts, it isn’t a surprise that incidents of bullying are usually found through young people where they gather to socialize. Schools are full of bullying activity, and many children are victimized. Sociology can enlighten the way we address this problem.
The big question is “What can we do when bullying occurs”? “How can we act on it?” When bullying starts to happen we don’t really notice it as a big thing but when things start to g worse and we notice it, it then becomes a problem. Last
