This study, developed by Richard Volpe, reviews the effects of the farming costs on the U.S supermarkets.Thus the most appropriate method to use whilist examining and observing the price transmission has yet not been acknowledged, the results have been exposed through the help of investigators in the marketing and economics sector. The studies result indicate that the change of farm prices dosen't have an impact on retail prices. The paper provides knowledge on the causes of the rise and fall of farming costs within a ten month time frame between 2008 to 2009 affecting retail food prices in the U.S supermarkets. This article is useful to those whom are in the farming and market industries in the U.S, and also it may be effective for their customers who consume their products. In conclusion, the reasons and effects for the startling rise and fall of the farming prices in current times remains a topic for research and discussion , this analysis takes a substantial first step with investigating the effects of the farming price strikes on retail food costs(Richard Volpe).
