The Mongols had integrated into Persian society when many Mongols began to convert to Islam (EV-M). Not to mention, Mongols had also practiced Eurasian integration which relocated talented individuals to places where they could make the most use (EV-M). On the contrary, Mongols did not assimilate to Chinese society as Mongol rule outlawed intermarriage between the Mongols and Chinese (EV-C). In addition to outlawing intermarriage, the Mongols forbade the Chinese from learning Mongol language (EV-C). Lastly, the Mongols raped women and made it difficult for upward mobility for the Chinese and considered exterminating the Chinese and making China a pastureland for their horses (EV-C). The reason for this difference in the Middle East was because the Mongols made important concessions to local interests, the Persians, while the Mongols had resented China because the Chinese had killed Genghis Khan’s father (DC). Consequently, Mongols slowly integrated into Persian society when Mongols began to convert to Islam while Mongols had only came to China to establish their dominance by raping women and administering the conquered region
