I. Many people are against animal testing in laboratories. It is often considered unethical, cruel, and unnecessary. A. A study was done on multiple people to discover their feelings towards using animals to test various products and chemicals. B. There was two factors shown in this study: general attitudes towards animal testing and animal welfare in testing conditions. 1. The study showed that overall people were okay with animal testing, as long as they were being tested in clean, non-stressful conditions. 2. Although the study was done without bias, data showed that women and vegans/vegetarians showed stronger feelings towards animal testing.
