Most of Bolivia’s most popular tourist attractions are at extreme altitudes which means it gets pretty cold, so pack some sweaters. Heating is only in the high end hotels, but there are lots of alpaca hats and jumpers on sale to fight off the cold. Food in Bolivia is an important part of their culture. Stemming mainly from a mixture of Spanish cuisine with Andean traditions, trying some of Bolivia’s food is an essential part of the travel experience. One mouth watering dish guest have to get their hands on is Buñuelos. Buñuelos are a popular snack throughout Bolivia. The snack come in both sweet or savory flavors and are most often stuffed with cheese. A Bolivian tradition is to eat Buñuelos on Christmas morning with syrup and hot chocolates.
