Working with the Yuma High principal, we found a venue for the event and planned the date and time. I created flyers and visited the other high school principals in our district to share about the event and enlist them to post the flyers. I contacted the GM engineers mentoring for the Gila Monsters FRC about asking the team to work with me on the project. I coached the team on the event and gave them the task of setting up and completing a safe and fun demonstration of the robot. I spoke to our local radio station and got a spot on a local talk show to promote the event. I lead my Scout troop to serve at the event, setting up chairs and tabletop exhibits, including handouts. I instructed them to the assist with parking and directing guests to the venue. I recruited a host for the event, who rode in on a Segway, created by FIRST founder Dean Kamen. I wrote the presentation and crafted the power-point presentation, which I delivered. The members of the robotics team and the scout troop preformed their assigned duties safely and
