In Rome there was a noble Brutus he was a good friend to some but he was not a good friend to all. He loves everyone dearly but wanted to do what was best for Rome. He gets talked into doing a risky move against the king Caesar who has just arrived back home. He is confused and does not want to come out as a bad person but still wants justice for Rome. Brutus and Cassius talk while Caesar walks to the games. Cassius does not like Caesar and does not want him to be king and he knows that Brutus has been acting different and that he can tell that Brutus does not like the fact that his friend Caesar might become king Cassius tells him about how they could possibly take that away from Caesar and how he is no greater than anyone else in Rome. A couple minutes later the conspirators come Cassius introduces them to Brutus and says that all of them have faith and believe in him. They sit down first they talk about who else should be included into the group, they say that Cicero should be in on it because he has wise words, but Brutus says that they should not add him because he will not follow what other men start. They talk about how Antony should not out live Caesar and that he is too good of friends with Caesar. Brutus tells him that he should not be killed that it will seem too bloody and that people will really be frightened by that but if we kill only one and gives good reasoning then they might see why we did it. They leave and then Brutus wife comes out and talk to him about why he has been out and not in bed with her he tells her to go back to bed and that he will tell her more when he gets the chance. In scene 3 Brutus is being a good friend to the conspirators and being on there side and trusting them and making an oath. He is still being a bad friend to Caesar because he’s not even thinking about him he’s thinking about how he can get at him because he is going to become king and he doesn’t like
