COVID-19: Personal Narrative

In this essay I will be talking about my best experiences during COVID-19. These times have made a positive impact on my life. This is because I have never been stuck at home for so long. But being stuck at home for so long, has brought some good times into my life. Those good times include my cousin coming to visit, my friend coming to visit, and getting a new dog. These events, and more, have made my Covid experience a little more intriguing. First, the visit of my cousin, Yoxanne, made me excited. This is because I haven't seen her in about a year. Second, the visit of my friend Victoria made me happy because I haven't seen her for two years. First, we had a pool party and apparently she is somehow allergic to sugar! Then we had a pretty long bike ride which we had not done in a long time and she was very good at it. Lastly, we went to a large Bass Pro shop in Memphis (the one that is shaped like a pyramid). We went to a mini aquarium there and we did a lot of shopping, I had a blast! In the end, it was great having a friend come back from the past and I hope it happens again. It was August 8th, my dogs were barking and scratching my bright door, I was running on the other page downstairs ready to meet my new pal. It was then that I realized how lucky I would have to be to get all my dogs to get along. But when my dog Jacob saw him, he thought he was a threat and pulled me all the way there and then, I saw this beautiful golden dog who was as friendly as a bright warm welcoming sunrise. We named him Duke, and he and Jacob did not exactly fit, but Duke and my other dog, Gypsy (Gip-See), were getting along well. I guess I will have to see if they will all get along in the future.
