Comparing Juliet In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

From reading the text, the readers learn that both Romeus and Juliet are madly in love with each other. Within the text, it claims that "lovers keep an hour when they are sure to see their love passing by their bower." This means that they had fallen in love with each other so much that they even had a specified time in which they could talk to each other in secret. At one point, Juliet claims that they are in danger just by seeing each other (which is revealed when she says, "What if your deadly foes...saw you here? Like lions wild, your tender parts asunder would they tear."), but they still see each other because they were in love.

Romeus seems to have a courageous character trait. He is willing to visit Juliet everyday just to see her even though he endangers his own life by doing so. However, at the same time, he seems to be somewhat foolish as he is blinded by love. This is proven when Romeus says, "...but always for your sake, a sacrifice to death I would my wounded corpse betake." This means that he desires to be with Juliet and is foolish enough to believe that he will continue being with her even if one of them dies.

Instead, she seems to jump to conclusions quickly as she "fears that Romeus might be dead" since "for several says they keep missing each other." This could signify that since she is young, she jumps to conclusions somewhat quickly in response to not seeing her
