Wayne State University Abstract
The game of football, one of America’s favorite past times, has been fighting a battle for years regarding concussions and their attempt to help prevent them. Football is not only a test of a player’s mental endurance, but also their physical endurance. The contact is forceful and impactful to all parts of the body, leaving players battered and bruised after every game. Often, concussions are occurring amongst players in the NFL leaving the league to implement new guidelines regarding concussions.
