According to some of "The Dark Ages" documents, European civilization was going through a period of growth and prosperity. For example, Document A discusses the importance of the Magna Carta. This document states one of the Magna Carta laws. "(31) Neither we nor any royal official will take wood for our castle, or for any other purpose, without the consent of the owner."
