Industrialization is where countries make machines to boost production speed and even improve the daily lives of their citizens. Because of industrialization, many of the countries that did this had either backlash or an improvement. In this article, we can see how industrialization has ruined the environment and the lives of the people. In Document 1 we can see a picture of a kid trapped in a web sorority by a spider. We see all of the outcomes and requirements of the factory. These outcomes include greed, poverty and other things. We can also see the spider eating the kid, resembling that industrialization is slowly killing our kids and our futures. This shows that industrialization is overall bad for us as a whole nation. The poem clearly states what is happening daily to these young kids. Right after the poem, we get a statistics chart in Document 3. This document shows us the number of children and what ages the number of children averages. You would hear this and think that there would be more adults than children. Think again, the document shows between ages seven to ten is what age most children are. Under the age of 9, there are no skilled laborers. This shows how dangerous factory work is. Even though there are older kids, like ages 15 and over, there are still more people ages 10 and below. This proves how unholy this industry is to humanity who can't read. In document 6 we see a photo that is called how the other half lives. In the images, we would expect to see normal people in their houses or apartments/buildings living life to the fullest. Instead, we see a horrific image of multiple people crammed into a small space with shit everywhere and not even a toilet in sight. in the other image, we see the "Other Half." doing fine in a big room that seems to be only one of many. The difference between each picture is just so mind-blowing how we let this
