Personal Essay
In your lifetime the chances are you will experience scary and worrying situations. These situations can be serious, the type that can physiologically ruin your week, month or the excitement of going on holiday, you know something good in your life. These do not arise from something like uncompleted homework, well they could, but it tends to be something more drastic than that.

The definition of fear is an unpleasant emotion caused by the threat of danger, pain, or harm. This is true as you are more likely to be scared thinking about the endless amount consequences that can arise from a situation involving pain or harm but in the end it usually turns out ok. But what if the consequence of something that is happening to you is life threatening and you know you're not over reacting?

This is quite a serious issue and is one that is taken into consideration when looking at why women on average live longer than men. You may think to yourself as soon as you would discover something like I did you would would have a doctors appointment booked as soon as possible, you see, I never. This is one thing I look back on knowing I should have done differently, I waited far too long before doing anything about it. I never really knew who to tell,I don't know why but I felt like it was a big deal which it wasn’t and it was eating me up because I never knew what to do. This added to the already worrisome time I was going through. I kept thinking about it, hoping that it would go away, postponing doing anything about it, googling symptoms of testicular cancer and while I was doing all of this time was going on. Im sure everyone already knows that cancerous tumors and so on are easier treated if found in early stages, if I had turned out to have testicular cancer I wouldn’t have done myself any
