Diabetes is a very common issue, not only in people, but dogs as well. There are two forms of diabetes that occur in dogs: insulin-resistance, and insulin-deficiency. Dogs that are insulin resistant cannot utilize the insulin that their body is producing. In insulin-deficient diabetes, the dog’s body is not producing enough insulin
