Every year, about 3,000 people die in car accidents because of distracted driving. Distracted driving occurs more in teens than adults because they are new to driving and don't yet have the experience of driving. They haven't gone through car crashes, and don't understand they need to be checking their surroundings to make sure others are paying attention to the road. They also don't understand the dangers of distracted driving. They think music and texting people back is more important than their safety. The only person you can control is yourself, so try to make the right choices to help you and others.
