My aunt works in the city. She was very worried about walking a long distance from her parking space to the building. They own weapons so she decided to get her permit for it and to get comfortable with it. So now she carries it with her to work. We should not have gun control because people need to protect themselves, the second amendment is the right to bear arms, and people are the problem not the guns. According to Stephen Wright who is the author of Off Road: A Uniquely American Novel About God, Guns, Big Trucks… and Family says that “thousands of citizens have been able to save their own lives with firearms because a gun was available to them.” Many people, like my aunt, are able to protect themselves with a concealed weapon. That is important because it shows that about 127,600,000 homes have guns. That is a HUGE number of people that probably feel safer.
