Step three, “take into consideration factors that relate to the situation and generate alternative for resolving the dilemma” The factor is that the daughter loved her father very much and want him to live longer. The daughter will be made to understand to respect her father wish, and doing CPR on him will cause more harm than good. The fourth step, “examine and categorize the alternatives. Identify those that are consistent and inconsistent with your personal values” I believe that when an individual is very old and sick with terminal disease, that individual should be allow to die a peaceful death instead of suffering him/her with life support or doing CPR. Step five, “predict all possible outcomes for those acceptable alternatives. The outcome I predict is that the daughter will respect the wish of her father and let him die comfortably. The sixth step, “prioritize acceptable alternative” Educating the daughter to respect wish of her dying father. The seventh step, “develop a plan of action utilizing the list of acceptable alternatives. Determine what you are going to do about this dilemma” I will get this to the attention of the ethical committee in the facility including family members. In step eight, “Implement the plan”. Step nine, “evaluate the action taken” I feel so sad
