In this novel there is a thing called the parlors and they are large TV's that take up an entire living room. One problem with these parlors is that they can be very addicting, we see that with Montag's wife Mildred. She spends hours upon hours watching these parlors. In the story it states that “No matter when he came in, the walls were always talking to Mildred.” and “I can't talk to my wife; she listens to the walls.” Mildred even gets to the point
