In Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are two lovers from quarreling families. This antagonism causes the two lovers to kill themselves in a tragic turn of events after attempting a treacherous plan. In the end, Friar Lawrence is the individual responsible for their death.
