In Shakespeare’s play Romeo and Juliet, Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet are two star crossed lovers whose family rivalry keeps them apart and leads to their death because they are prohibited from being married. These lovers meet at a ball where they begin to realize their love for one another and get married overtime. Once they are married, Juliet's parents tell her she must marry Paris. Juliet refuses, but her father threatens her to do so. She runs to Friar Lawrence, whose plan fails all because Romeo did not receive the letter in time, and leads Juliet to commit suicide because she knows she cannot live without her love. For instance, all readers will have a different perspective and point of view on which individual should take the blame for Romeo and Juliet's death, but it is clear that Juliet should have taken the blame. For example..."Juliet shouldn't have gotten with Friar Lawrence's plan to not marry Paris( act 5)." This evidence clearly proves that that if Juliet would have simply not gone with Friar Lawrence's plan it would've prevented the issue of both lovers dying and it would've been more simple for Juliet to tell her father that she would not be marrying Paris even though it would've gotten her banished however, she would have at least been banished with Romeo. As well as... "If she was willing to kill herself she obviously didn't care enough about her family to stay, so she should've just run away (act 3)." Therefore, this explains that if all along Juliet was going to be okay with killing herself, it would've been much better for her to rather just run away and still be able to see Romeo. Over time, her parents would've gotten over the fact that all along she never wanted to marry Paris and she would have been happily living with
