Gender discrimination is often the main obstacle that binds women from persuading many of their career goal, because the norm always measures whether women are qualified. Women are usually being rejected strongly to take leadership role. Leadership is portrayed as agentic qualities that women find it hard to achieve such different qualities or just to be accepted into a leadership role. When women act against the norm of society such as obtain a leadership position, but they also find themselves being rejected by people too. Women are outnumbering in their field of work that they often face no equal treatment. For instance, when women share their ideas out it is often being ignored by men, but if it were to be a men’s idea, it’ll be evaluated or taking more into consideration. For instance, the author states “So outnumbered, the women tend to be ignored by the men.” (Allice H. Eagly and Linda L. Carli, 2007) Women may acquire the manager or even higher leadership position, but they are highly being resisted for their performant and their existence at works are less influential than men.
