A big stepping stone in your life is changing from high school, and going on to a college or a university. College is the mile stone in higher education that can determine your future to succeed or not. While going to college is not all about having fun, you can still have fun. However you have to put in work and keep your number one focus on your homework and class. School is important to gain common knowledge, to earn and achieve my degree for my future career. Through the process to achieve my degree I need the expectations of the university to help me on this path.
School is not a prison to send children to for adults to have a break; school is important to help us gain basic skills, to learn about new things, and to prepare us for the future. Through education in school they teach us about basic skills to help us in everyday life, like reading, writing, and mathematics. Although basic skills are important to learn, we also still need learn about different cultures, places, and our planet as well. Learning about culture, places, and the planet help us gain a broader view of the world. Although learning about these things is alright, as school teaches us knowing these things prepares us for the future. School prepares us

Continuing on to college is important to me; it lets me show others that I can become successful with doing hard work. This wasn’t my first choice of school to attend and go out of state. It was my fourth choice; the other top two schools I was planning on going to had taken away my athlete scholarships for getting hurt. So I had narrow down my choice and pick this university. While attending this university this year, I will stay focused in class, and stay on task. Because if I slip up I might get a low grade in class, and that might affect my future. Therefore, I will try my hardest to not mess up where I can earn my degree and have a successful
