Myths can have multiple meanings as well as interpretations. You choose how you want to use the information provided to add or take away from your daily life. Some believe in mythology and is a part of their culture and religion, others have no use and think its complete non sense. Only you can choose what is right for you.

According to an online dictionary source, myth has two man definitions. One is a very broad one, any invented story, idea, or concept. This could also be a “old wives tale” something that was believed to work or do a job but either failed or passed. The create a fictional story to show us how things evolved in earlier years and we can still use some of those stories today and can relate.

Greek Mythology is the most popular type of mythology, most every person has heard at least one story about Medusa, Heracles, Orpheus, Pandora and many more. On the web, they have listed the top ten myths in Greek mythology. First, The Legend of Prometheus, The Odyssey, Pandora's Jar, Heracles, Jason and the Argonauts, The Trojan War, Theseus and the Minotaur, Demeter and Persaphene, Orpheus and Eurydice and lastly Oedipus the Theban. There are many other mythical themes across the world and through culture, some we still use today.
Heracles is a very well known story or myth about strength and courageousness even though he killed his wife and kids as they slept. This is not a happy story but prior to the vindictive murder he shows great character traits which we instill in people today. We see these acts today on tv, in mass media and even in our own personal life but these myths shows us how we can act towards others and triumph
