In this generation many of our attributes are being reduced. Through the story “Harrison Bergeron” by Kurt Vonnegut Jr., society is weakening or handicapping people’s unique talents and skills to achieve full equality through the government's way of dictatorship. Life originally began with independence, relying on our individual capabilities to get the job done; however it is now being replaced with electronics. It is clear now that technology is ruining society's original way of life. Technology is shattering each individual's unique talents and skills, such as cooking and our original old ways of communication.

It wasn't so long ago that the evolution of cooking has exceedingly changed. Looking at the 20th century and further back, cooking used to include gathering fresh or raw ingredients and then started baking from scratch. It started with a pen, ink, some paper and writing words in a calligraphy font, it's all ending with a screen and some taps on a keyboard. This included having to dig through our minds too find some creativity for more of an aesthetic look towards our letters it also gets our mind thinking towards proper punctuation and proper sentencing with no additional help such as auto correct. This lifestyle will soon be gone and be replaced by some devices that are silently killing us. Furthermore, apps are being created each month that help make our lives be less complicated. Apps such as facebook, gmail, and messenger each making it more accessible to contact business partners, co workers, family and, friends. An example of this is my parents growing up started their adulthood by sending letters to people they could not reach by phone, now here they are using apps on their phone and computers to contact long distance friends and
