I really liked Harrison Bergeron. As a story it really made me think, as well as question the ideas and possibilities it had for the future. Harrison Bergeron made me question what it means to be equal, as well as the degree of success the society achieved in creating equality. By making no one smarter, prettier, stronger, or more agile than anyone else, the people who were advanced in these areas had to suffer constantly. Therefore the equality was flawed, and favoring everyone who was genetically inferior. This made me question who decided to implement the handicaps, and whether our society could ever reach a point like that.
