Research Paper Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln was an incredible influence on the world we live in today. He is one of the founding fathers of our nation. There are many good men in this world, some impact there family and others impact those around them, but Lincoln was one of the rare men in this world that impact the world and not just the people closest to him. Abraham had many achievements some of them he's known for and others flew under the radar. People had different feelings about Abe, some respected him, others did not like him as much do to him making rational decisions (abolishing slavery). Lincoln was a leader, he was fierce, he was smart, and he went behind what he believed in not what everyone else does and thinks.
Unlike many of the US presidents, Abe had a rough childhood. He was born on February 12th, 1809, on a farm in Kentucky. Most people do not know that Lincoln didn't have the easiest childhood. Money wasn't really the issue, his father Thomas Lincoln was a successful farmer, but shockingly there are more issues in life than money. This had a tremendous affect on Abe, this taught him to be independent and to have leadership traits. Half a year went by and without any sign of the father coming back, suddenly one day Thomas shows up with a wife and 3 of her children, but it was too late Abe already gave up on him, he wouldn't let himself become close with a man who had just abandoned him for almost a year. All in all Abraham Lincoln had a tough childhood but his heroic personality was build because of this.
