On October 30, 1735, born in Braintree (Quincy) Massachusetts.
As the first born, John was expected to do great things. His father wanted him to join the ministry. But john found school boring and would often skip it to go play in the fields. John told his father that he wanted to be a farmer like him. Instead of telling him, no you will go back to school, John started working on the farm. A little while later John told his father that he would like to continue his schooling.

Adams was sent to Philadelphia as the Massachusetts delegate, for the First Continental
Congress, in 1774. Where he tried to show the other 12 delegates that revolution was the best way. One year later he nominated George Washington for the leader of the continental army.

In 1778, John Adams was sent to Paris, to get Finances, Reinforcements, and supplies for the revolutionary war. On his return he was selected as a delegate to the states constitutional convention. He was picked anonymously by all of the delegates to draft the state’s constitution. In which he took account of his experiences, his own ideas, and his knowledge of history to create the document. He went back to Paris, upon completing the draft, in 1779, to negotiate peace with Britain. The negotiations were not getting anywhere, and america was running out of funds. So he went to Holland to negotiate with the Dutch for funds, and was named the American minister to the Netherlands, in late 1780. A few years after returning
