My Purpose
I chose this topic because it is an act of racism and it reminded me of the holocaust and that is what we were learning in class. I wanted to learn about other acts of slavery that took place in Canada. Some specific things I wish to learn about include: How the Japanese Canadian internment impacted Japanese Canadians… Psychologically, physically, the impact it had on war soldiers and how specific people were impacted, and most importantly how it impacted how they felt about their identity as a Japanese Canadians. I will be collecting my information through a series of interviews by people who went through this situation. I hope you enjoy my project.
