As humans, we are not perfect. In fact, we have flaws and one of those flaws is being judgmental. As much as we don’t want to admit this, we are guilty of judging people based on their race, ethnicity, gender, class, and etc. Even though it’s morally wrong, it is part of human nature to judge others and has become inevitable in today’s society. Unfortunately, I myself am guilty of it and was a bit hesitant about choosing this topic since it would be hypocritical of me to tell everyone to stop judging. However, I’m not here to lecture or educate you guys, but only to question our actions as a group.
We like to label others, and assume things based on our observations and interactions with them. This is natural for all humans to do since we have to make assumptions to distinguish between what is right or wrong. However, most of the time, we let these observations or rumors about other people taint our perceptions of them before truly getting to know them. And we end up basing our judgements on just that and never getting to know them fully.
I think judging is somewhat a comfort factor for us, since it gives us a sense of how to perceive and act towards someone. We formulate a significant description of a person, and act accordingly to that definition. It is a kind of

However, over the years I’ve come to realize what they meant. For example, it’s unlikely that a Victoria’s Secret model is going to walk around making fun of other people’s weight. It’s unlikely that someone who is satisfied and confident with their speech is going to make fun of other people’s speeches. And it’s unlikely that someone who is smart will go out of their way to justify their intelligence and pick on other people for being less smart. We are only judgemental towards each other because we use each other as a projection pad out of our own perceived
