The high demand on food as a result of the growth of population in the world and United States made the mission to provide food difficult at the present time. The United State Nation predicted the world’s population to be 9.4 billion in 2050 (Chengappa et al., 2007). To meet the needs of 2050 and beyond, Land grant universities require to generate more research in the impact of climate changing on agriculture and increase the efficiency of farmers around the world and in the United States. The world and the United States as a part has been warming significantly over the past 50 years in response to the buildup of heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere (Karl, 2009). Most areas in the United States have warmed 1 to 2ºF compared to the 1960s and 1970s, and most of the United States is projected to experience grater warming in summer than in the winter, while Alaska experiences far more warming in the winter than summer (Karl, 2009). Agriculture is extremely vulnerable to climate change. Higher temperatures eventually reduce yields of desirable crops while encouraging weed and pest proliferation. Changes in precipitation patterns increase the likelihood of short-run crop failures and long-run production declines (Nelson et al., 2009). They tried to engage with the communities they serve again from decades. Twenty five presidents of state and land grant universities recognized the needs to return to the original mission of land grant, and they started to meet in the mid-1990s to talk about the challenges and develop new strategies (Aronson & Webster, 2007). Today, people issues not only improve teaching, and do research, and provide high quality extension service to rural communities. It is more than that, the universities need to focus on community partnerships and collaboration to address the crisis afflicting America’s youth (Lerner & Simon, 2014). Today, we life in a very dingers communities and youth try to mimic what they see others do. We heard about many youth programs but we need more programs under land grant universities to help youth to move on their issues.
