INTERVIEW PROJECT ASSIGNMENT
The interview that I conducted was with my employee; I work as a paralegal at Nelson Meeks Law Firm. Mr. Nelson is a solo practitioner lawyer and his office is located at San Francisco CA. Mr. Nelson has been practicing a law for twelve years now; he practices immigration law, civil litigation, and labor & employment. The reason why I choose to interview Mr. Nelson was because I want to become a great lawyer as him and practice labor & employment and fight for the rights of people who’ve been discriminated at their work place. In high school Mr. Nelson was one of the brightest students especially, subjects like math and science. But, as a high school student he wasn’t very good in reading and writing. So he went to UC Berkeley and graduate from there with the Engineer Degree.
After graduation Mr. Nelson start to work as a chemical engineer, where he continued working for numbers of years. Mr. Nelson invented a cleaning air pollution machines, but for some reasons environmental guys that work currently at the company didn’t let him turn on and operate the machine in the city. As a student, I learned from my interview that if I want to work as a lawyer I have to know my job really well. The career I have chosen is to become a lawyer, in either a private practice or firm, or for the government. The reason why I choose this particular job is to help those people who have been facing discrimination at their work place because of their status, appearance and religion. Those people have the all rights to seek for help and get what they deserve for their humiliation, and I want to be one of those people who will help them to obtain all the rights in this
